Founded in 2008 by Daria Zhukova and Roman Abramovich, the Museum is the first philanthropic organization in Russia aimed at the development of contemporary art and culture.

Kairat Sovetaevich has been a close friend and patron of the Gold level of the Garage Museum of Modern Art (Moscow, Russia) since 2018. The total amount of support over these years is 13,710,000 rubles.

Thanks to the support of patrons and partners, the Museum implements an average of 8 exhibitions per year, 10 performances, 1000+ public events, 37 publishing projects.
Donations from patrons are distributed among permanent programs — vectors of long-term development of the institution. Today, Garage includes film screenings, concerts, festivals, educational events, scientific and regional studies, inclusive projects that take place both in the Museum and in friendly educational and cultural institutions.
