On September 05, the Fifth Minsk Half Marathon 2019 took place - one of the most popular half-marathons in Eastern Europe that has gathered record 40 000 participants this year. On that day, the Almaly team was represented by about 140 employees from companies of the Holding.
Traditionally, the half-marathon was attended by over 100 employees of McDonald's from Belarus, as well as runners from Kazakhstan and Russian companies that are included in the Almaly holding, such as McDonald's Russia and McDonald's Kazakhstan, Rahat Palace, Fitnation, Kairat FC, KazStroyProekt, KNK Chemical and Almaly Assets Management Company. The participants were actively preparing for the half-marathon, attending training sessions and improving their physical fitness.
It should be noted that Kairat Boranbayev, General Director of Almaly Assets Management Company, also took part in the race and ran the longest distance of the three proposed ones - 21 km.
“I want to congratulate Minsk on holding a marathon of such a high level. High-level organization, friendly participants, and wide comfortable streets - everything is as it should be. It is especially pleasant that there were a lot of spectators who supported all participants with emotions, posters. I was glad that people with disabilities took part; this is also a positive sign for the organizers. It was a very good holiday for the city”, said Kairat Boranbayev.

Every year on the third Sunday in June, Kazakhstan celebrates Health Worker's Day. Its celebration was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1998. Perhaps there is no profession in the world, the importance of which in human life plays a greater role than the profession of a doctor, nurse, and all medical personnel. It is health workers who help to identify a disease by symptoms and during the examination, determine its nature, build a scheme and methods of treatment, as well as carry out this treatment. For the employees of the Karaganda pharmaceutical complex «Health Worker's Day» is considered to be a professional holiday due to the fact that pharmaceutical production workers as well as health workers make a significant contribution to the health care system by providing patients with medicines in a timely manner. Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex LLP is the first domestic innovative biotechnological pharmaceutical enterprise, and this year the complex celebrates its 10th anniversary.
