Yermek Serkebayev Culture and Art Sup-port Fund is a non-profit charitable organi-zation founded in August 2015 on the ini-tiative of Baigali and Kamila Serkebayev, the son and granddaughter of Yermek Bekmuhamedovich Serkebayev, People's Artist of the USSR.

Main activities of the Foundation are to support young talented artists, assist in their creative development and education, establish prizes and scholarships, organize public concerts in Kazakhstan and abroad in order to strengthen the cultural influence of Kazakhstan in the world. 

Another priority is to preserve the memory of outstanding artists of Kazakhstan and to provide them with moral and financial support, organize anniversary concerts, publish biographical literature, audio and video recordings of the best examples of classical musical art. 

From the moment the foundation was opened and for several years, Kairat Boranbaev has been providing sponsorship to the foundation. Sponsorship provides funds for monthly scholarships for gifted children, students of music schools in Almaty - orphans, from low-income, disadvantaged, single-parent and multi-child families; as well as funds for gifted children trips to music contests, master classes, internships, and funds for classical music concerts, music and film festivals, screenings and other events organized by the Foundation.
